BUILDING CONTROL
Building Control must receive an application for Building Regulations approval.Â
The Building Regulations are the minimum standards to design and build to.
A building Control Inspector will make regular visits to inspect the work being carried out and issue a completion certificate when it's all finished.
PLANNING APPROVAL
Most major changes to existing building will need Planning Permission. Some building work can be done under the Permitted Development rules. This means you could avoid the cost of getting Planning Permission and save time..
